Here’s a little info on a few of our industry experts for Refresh your Resume…

Chad Mihalick founded Malakye.com in the summer of 2002 as an action-sports focused job website.  Since then, he has grown the business to include business-to-business service, events, and original content.  Today Malakye reaches more than 80,000 people a month from coast to coast in the U.S. and abroad.

John Stouffer works at FUEL TV as the Director of PR and Endemic Relations. He’s worked at FUEL TV for more than 5 years,
starting as the writer for the Weekly Update news show for more than 2 years, then moving over to marketing manager, and finally to his current post.

Prior to his stint at FUEL TV, he spent almost 10 years at TransWorld Media working as the Editorial Director of Transworld Snowboarding Business (now just Transworld Business).  He also oversaw the launch of Transworld Surf Business magazine (which later was folded into Transworld Business.) During this time, he spent a year as Editorial Director of Snowboard Life magazine.

Janice Nickloff is the PR Manager for Burton Snowboards and is responsible for the overall PR and communications strategies for the U.S. (West Coast), Canada, Japan, China, New Zealand and Australia. Her responsibilities include media relations, events, product placement, written communications, retail marketing, and entertainment/music programs.

After graduating from CSUF with a Bachelor’s of Arts in Communications, Nickloff started her PR career in the fashion and entertainment industries working for companies such as 20th Century Fox, Joie/Seven Jeans, Nike’s Jordan Brand, and Bragman Nyman Cafarelli, one of the biggest entertainment PR firms, with clients including Cadillac, T-Mobile and Sony Playstation.

Passion, hard work and experience have led Nickloff to the position she currently holds as PR Manager, and the best part of the job – she gets to snowboard around the world.
